Thank you for wanting to learn more about me - I am grateful that our paths have crossed!
I am a Certified Crystal Healer and Certified ThetaHealer, utilizing crystals and energy for emotional and physical healing. I am extremely intuitive, which allows me to help people heal on a deeper level. I have also experienced life as a highly sensitive person (empath, easily affected by surrounding energies, emotions, people, etc), and love to help others learn how to protect themselves from external influences that might be affecting their own physical and emotional wellbeing. This is when energy healing and crystals became my "super power", and I now love to use them in all areas of my life. If you'd like to meet in person, you can find me in the small beach town of Solana Beach, north of San Diego.
The backstory: I was born in the beach town of Santa Cruz, and then grew up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, in Amador County, where the small gold mining towns of Sutter Creek and Jackson were called home. Right after I graduated high school, I lost both of my parents in the same year, and didn't know how to cope with the loss, so I became very focused on success (and numb) in life... I became an overachiever and perfectionist, choosing success over happiness, and doing what I thought my parents would have wanted for me. I went to design school for Interior Architecture, married young, and worked a successful career for 10 years as a Retail Store Designer. By the time I hit 30 years old, I realized that nothing in my life was bringing me happiness, I was just going through the motions in every aspect of life. I was depressed, anxious and feeling incredibly lost. Not to mention that fact that my body was screaming in pain from all the stress I had been putting on myself to be perfect all those years, and to try even harder no matter what I achieved. So I had to re-evaluate everything and basically wipe the entire slate clean, which was terrifying. I felt like a failure, shameful for "giving up" on a successful career, and a lot of fear, especially going through a divorce and feeling very alone without my parents. It required almost two years of intense healing and decompressing (physically and emotionally), a lot of self discovery, and a lot of courage. We can so easily cause ourselves a lot of damage, by not listening to our intuition, not being kind to ourselves and by putting too much weight on what others think of us. It took a few years to rebuild to where I am now, but I am now happy to be doing something that makes me feel like I have a real purpose, by helping others heal.
I look forward to connecting with you on your journey!
