There are so many wonderful crystals to use for Self-Love… in fact, this is one of the most common questions I’m asked: Which crystals for more self-love?

In life, it is so easy to get caught up in all the daily demands, especially if you have a family/kids, manage a business, want to live a conscious lifestyle, balance friends and social events, PLUS, making time for yourself… which might include: exercising, meditating, healthy eating, self-care, self-love, etc… However, giving ourselves attention and self-love tends to be the last priority.

Can you relate?

The more we can nurture the special relationship with ourselves, the better we can show up for everyone (and everything) else in our lives. The more loved and fulfilled you feel within, the more you can share with others. A great place to start is to work with Crystals that emit the frequency of LOVE… this can help shift your energy into that frequency, so that you are feeling more connected with your heart chakra and providing yourself with FEELING more loved and fulfilled.

By wearing these crystals as jewelry, it’s a great way to have the physical reminder of your intention to connect more with self-love. A reminder to put yourself first, maybe even put a hand on your Heart Chakra and say an affirmation, such as “I receive more Love” as you take a deep breath in. You can also choose to keep these stones in your pockets, on your nightstand, or meditate with them. The closer to your body and heart chakra, the better, because that allows the crystals energy to connect with your energy.

My favorite crystals to recommend for Self Love:

Rhodochrosite: This crystal is well known for receiving love and accepting yourself - it is a very soothing, comforting type of love. It is great for emotional healing, inner child healing and bringing in Joy! Allows you to see old hurts with a new perspective and move into forgiveness, allowing for complete healing from a place of empowerment (vs victimization). Helps with rediscovery of talents/passions, becoming more aligned with your true self. It can also be good for calling love into your life, as you are aligning with the frequency of love! Heart Chakra.

Pink Rhodonite: This crystal represents love, generosity, and compassion. Helps with healing past emotional wounds, as well as dispersing energy in current stressful situations. This crystal has a very compassionate and encouraging energy, especially when needing to reconnect with self-worth and courage. It can assist you with discovering hidden talents and exploring what your soul needs. Heart Chakra.

Rose Quartz: A popular Crystal for self-love, unconditional love, and romantic love. It connects with the heart for healing heartbreak, emotional healing, and it has a nurturing energy. It’s considered a feminine support energy, and can feel very soothing and comforting. Some people like it for sleeping with it under their pillow, or keeping in their pocket to help reduce stress and anxiety. Heart Chakra.

Other recommendations: Pink Opal, Garnet, Pink Tourmaline, Ruby, Ruby Zoisite, Malachite, Emerald

Also keep in mind that each person is unique and will connect with crystals a little differently, so use your intuition as well when selecting crystals for yourself and how you work with them. And I always recommend just starting with one crystal at a time, to see how your mind-body-spirit responds to it. That way when you feel the shift in your energy, you’ll know which crystal works well for you!
